Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Age-related bilateral cataract
- Age 21 years or older
- Visual acuity greater than 0.05
- Axial eye length between 21.00 and 27.00 mm
- Normal medical history and physical exam unless any abnormality is clinically relevant
- Provided written informed consent before surgery
You will not qualify if you...
- Active eye diseases that could affect good post-operative vision, such as chronic uveitis, diabetic retinopathy, or uncontrolled glaucoma
- Other significant eye conditions like pseudoexfoliation syndrome
- Irregular astigmatism detected by corneal tomography
- Severe dry eye disease
- Previous eye surgery or trauma
- Pregnant or nursing women (pregnancy test required for women of reproductive age)
