Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Women and men
- Between 18 and 70 years old
- Diagnosed with high-output enterocutaneous fistula for the first time
- Need for parenteral nutrition
You will not qualify if you...
- Use of octreotide
- Receiving palliative care
- Use of steroids
- Oxalate nephropathy
- G6PD deficiency
- Hemochromatosis
- Abdominal surgeries in the last 6 months
- Hospitalizations longer than 15 days in the last 6 months
