Background: This investigation aims to explore efficacy of Taiwanese whole grain job's tear on muscle health and blood glucose and lipid levels in community-dwelling older adults. Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Age between 60 and 95 years
- Experience slower walking speed, weakness, or a fall in the past year
- Willingness to follow the program and cooperate with study tracking
- Not vegan or vegetarian
- Able and willing to sign informed consent
You will not qualify if you...
- Limb diseases including fractures or severe arthritis in the past 6 months
- Neurological diseases affecting limb control such as Parkinson's disease or stroke
- Intermittent limp caused by peripheral artery disease
- Poorly controlled mental disorders
- Poorly controlled cardiopulmonary diseases
- Poorly controlled malignant tumors
- Poorly controlled kidney disease (eGFR <60 ml/min/1.73)
- Visual or hearing impairments preventing program completion
- Current or planned hormone treatment during the study
- Any other conditions deemed unsuitable by the principal investigator
