Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Consecutive acute ischemic stroke or TIA patients aged 40 years or older
- Diagnosis of acute ischemic stroke based on clinical and neuroimaging evaluation (brain CT or MRI scan)
- Stroke patients of all etiologies except atrial fibrillation with a HAVOC score of 4 or higher
- Informed consent obtained from patients or guardians
You will not qualify if you...
- Patients with incomplete evaluation
- Patients with known or newly detected atrial fibrillation at hospitalization
- Patients not providing informed consent
