Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Be 12 to 17 years old
- Self-identify as a sexual or gender minority
- Be involved in juvenile justice, child welfare, or community-based mental health systems
- Have personal experience with self-injurious thoughts and behaviors
- Speak English
- Be willing and able to provide informed assent
- Be 18 to 80 years old (caregivers)
- Be the primary caregiver of an eligible youth
- Speak English (caregivers)
- Be willing and able to provide informed consent (caregivers)
You will not qualify if you...
- Be younger than 12 or older than 17 years old
- Do not self-identify as a sexual or gender minority
- Not involved in juvenile justice, child welfare, or community-based mental health systems
- Have no personal experience with self-injurious thoughts and behaviors
- Do not speak English
- Unwilling or unable to provide informed assent
- Be younger than 18 or older than 80 years old (caregivers)
- Not be the primary caregiver of an eligible youth
- Do not speak English (caregivers)
- Unwilling or unable to provide informed consent (caregivers)
