How to Read Trial Summary Metrics

1 min read
Last updated: July 06, 2026

Six key performance indicator (KPI) cards at the top of the Trial Dashboard summarize trial activity. Each card displays a current count and a percentage trend indicator showing change versus the previous period.

The six metrics are: Total Participants (all participants in the trial), New Participants (newly added in the selected period), Primary Qualified (passed primary screening), Secondary Qualified (passed secondary screening), Site Referrals (referred to a study site), and Recruited Participants (enrolled in the trial).

Together, these KPI cards provide a quick snapshot of trial health. The trend indicators help nurses identify whether activity is increasing, decreasing, or holding steady.
