Personal Views on the Nurse Dashboard

Beyond the analytics tabs, the Nurse Dashboard provides several personal views that help nurses manage their workload across trials and understand their assignment.

My Trials view

The My Trials view lists all trials the nurse is currently assigned to. Each row in the list includes key performance metrics for that trial, allowing nurses to compare their activity across trials at a glance.

Nurses use this view to switch between trials and quickly identify which trial requires attention. Clicking a trial opens the Trial Dashboard for that trial, where the nurse can drill into the participant pipeline.

Assigned shift

The Assigned Shift section displays the nurse's current shift schedule. Shifts define the hours during which the nurse is expected to conduct outreach. The shift information includes the time block (Morning, Afternoon, Evening, Night, or General/Whole Day) and the working days (Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri, Sat, Sun) on which the shift applies.

Nurses refer to this section to confirm their working schedule and to plan outreach activity around their assigned hours.

Why you only see your assigned participants

The Leads/Participants list on the Nurse Dashboard is intentionally scoped to participants assigned to the logged-in nurse. The list does not include the full trial roster.

This design keeps the view focused on actionable items. Nurses see only the participants they are responsible for, which prevents confusion and reduces information overload. Participants assigned to other nurses on the same trial appear on those nurses' dashboards instead. If a participant is reassigned to a different nurse, the participant moves from the original nurse's list to the new nurse's list automatically.
