The Chat module is a unified inbox accessible from the left sidebar of the dashboard. It aggregates all message threads with participants across every channel into a single interface, eliminating the need to switch between separate applications for SMS, WhatsApp, and chat.
Each conversation thread shows the full message history with the participant, including timestamps and read status indicators. Nurses can start new conversations, reply to incoming messages, and review past conversations all from the Chat module.
Channel tabs
The Chat module organizes conversations into channel-specific tabs so users can focus on one channel at a time when needed.
The All tab displays a combined feed of every channel, useful when scanning all recent activity at once. The Call tab shows call logs and recorded threads with duration and timestamps. The SMS tab shows text-message threads. The Web Chat tab shows in-app chat conversations from the participant portal. The WhatsApp tab shows WhatsApp message threads.
Users select a tab to filter conversations by channel.
