Trial Cards

Last updated: November 03, 2025

Each trial in the search results is represented by a Trial Card, a standardized visual element that presents key study details in a concise, scannable format.

Title & Description

  • The trial title is typically derived from the sponsor’s or registry’s official name but may be simplified for easier reading.
  • A short summary offers a quick overview of the study’s purpose, target condition, and potential participant benefits or focus areas.

Tags (Phase, Age, Gender, etc.)

Each card displays important tags to help users quickly understand study parameters. Tags may include:

  • Study Phase (e.g., Phase 1, Phase 4)
  • Target Age Group (e.g., 12–65 years)
  • Gender Requirements (e.g., Female-only, All Genders)
  • Volunteer Type (e.g., Healthy Volunteers, Diagnosed Participants)

These tags enable fast visual filtering and comparison between trials.

Volunteer Labels

Labels may indicate whether the trial is open to:

  • Healthy volunteers
  • Patients with a specific condition
  • Caregivers or family members (where applicable)

This helps participants identify if the trial is a suitable fit based on their personal or caregiver role.

Recruitment Status

Each trial card includes the current recruitment status, such as:

  • Actively Recruiting
  • Not Yet Recruiting
  • Enrollment Paused
  • Closed

This ensures participants only engage with trials currently accepting new applicants, unless otherwise filtered.

Pagination

If the number of results exceeds the page limit, participants can navigate across pages using the pagination controls at the bottom of the results list. This maintains page performance while offering access to the full dataset of matching trials.

Key Note: Every element within a Trial Card is designed for transparency and ease of comparison. Participants are encouraged to review several cards before selecting one to explore in depth.

Each trial card includes clickable areas that lead to the full Trial Details Page, where more information and contact options are provided.
