Viewed vs. Matched vs. Referred
- Viewed Trials: These are trials whose detail pages you have opened and explored. This helps you revisit trials you considered but may not have saved.
- Matched Trials: These are trials for which you met the basic eligibility criteria based on your profile and pre-screener responses. Matching does not imply acceptance or referral but indicates a preliminary fit.
- Referred Trials: Trials for which your information was formally sent to a research site or sponsor following your consent. This typically marks the start of direct communication with the trial site.
Status Definitions
Each entry in your history will include a status such as:
- Viewed
- Matched
- Referred
- Not Eligible (if determined during pre-screening) – This status simply means the trial’s stated eligibility criteria were not met based on your profile or pre-screener responses. It is not a medical judgment or diagnosis and does not affect your ability to apply for other trials.
- Withdrawn (if you opted not to proceed)
Statuses are updated automatically as you progress through steps in the platform.
