RECRUITING

The study will look at how well insulin icodec controls blood sugar levels in participants who have never used it before. Participants with type 1 diabetes (T1D) will be treated with insulin icodec as prescribed to by their doctor, in accordance with usual clinical practice. This study will last for about 22 to 30 weeks.

RECRUITING

The aim of the current study is to evaluate the effectiveness and safety of bempedoic acid combined with ezetimibe and either atorvastatin or rosuvastatin (hereafter defined as triple therapy) in a real-world clinical setting. No drug will be administered during this observational study. The primary objective of the study is to evaluate the effectiveness of the triple therapy in terms of LDL-C reduction at 8 weeks. The secondary objectives will include the following: * Goal attainment at 8 weeks and 1 year after start of triple therapy * Effectiveness of triple therapy in terms of LDL-C reduction at 1 year * Effectiveness of adding bempedoic acid to statin and ezetimbe at 8 weeks and 1 year * Effectiveness of adding bempedoic acid/ezetimibe FDC to statin in terms of LDL-C reduction at 8 weeks and 1 year * Changes in laboratory values at 8 weeks and 1 year after start of triple therapy * Adherence to triple therapy treatment * Collection and recording of all adverse events occurred since initiation of triple therapy * MACE-3 and MACE-4 (consisting of non-fatal MI, non-fatal stroke, CV-death, and coronary revascularization (for MACE-4 only)) during the year of follow-up * Treatment changes at LMT initiation and at triple therapy initiation * Treatment pathway from triple therapy initiation to 1-year after start of triple therapy

RECRUITING

All patients will be included just after implantation and will then be followed during 48 months after inclusion. At each on-site or remote follow-up visit (1 to 3 months, 6, 12, 24 and 48 months), performances of the remote monitoring functions and the cardiac pacing system itself will be measured, and safety will be monitored during the whole clinical investigation duration.

RECRUITING

Within the current trial, two novel strategies are tested in a randomized fashion in patients with atrial fibrillation and status post intracranial bleeding. Patients with ICH were usually excluded from the large NOAC trials and were also not representatively included in the large Watchman device trials. On the other hand, registries show that there is a significant proportion of patients with status post ICH that were implanted with a LAA closure device in clinical routine, and also there are those patients treated with NOAC due to their high stroke risk, despite the risk of recurrent ICH. Both therapies, NOAC and LAA closure are effective in preventing stroke in patients with AF at high risk for stroke. Also, for both therapies there is evidence for prevention of bleedings, especially intracranial bleeding events. Patients within the LAA closure group will have the chance after successful closure of the LAA to quit oral anticoagulation medication and therefore reduce their lifetime risk for bleeding and recurrent bleeding. Patients in the NOAC group are provided with an excellent protection against stroke and a significant reduced bleeding risk compared to Vitamin K antagonist therapy. The trial will help to develop data and hopefully guidelines for management of patients with AF and status post intracranial bleedings. It may help to give physicians data to therapy patients post ICH adequately and help to reduce mortality rates in those patients.

RECRUITING

Participants include men and women ≥ 40 years of age with T2DM, established CV disease, a history of HTN with an SBP of at least 130 mmHg at screening, who meet the predefined serum potassium level, and with at least one additional risk factor for HF. The study will include an optional pre-screening period to facilitate sites' identification of potentially eligible participants to enter the full screening assessments. Participants will not be required to visit the site and no informed consent is required for the optional pre-screening period. The pre-screening assessments do not replace the full screening tests at Visit 1. Upon entering the screening period, all consented participants (after signature of screening ICF) will be screened during an up to 14-day screening period. Participants who meet all screening inclusion/exclusion criteria but are not treated with SGLT2i or are treated for less than 4 weeks will enter a run-in period with dapagliflozin 10 mg once daily for at least 4 weeks (and not more than 6 weeks) before randomisation. Site visits will take place at approximately 2-, 4-, 8-, 16-, and 34-weeks following randomisation. Thereafter visits will occur approximately every 4 months. The study closure procedures will be initiated when the predetermined number of the first secondary endpoint events (ie, the composite of hospitalisation for HF or CV death) is predicted to have occurred i.e., the PACD. In case of premature discontinuation of the blinded study intervention, participants will remain in the study. Unless a participant meets the dapagliflozin specific discontinuation criteria, they will continue to receive open label dapagliflozin 10 mg. It is important that the scheduled study visits and data collection continue according to the study protocol.

RECRUITING

The purpose of this study is to evaluate whether zilebesiran versus placebo reduces the risk of cardiovascular (CV) death, nonfatal myocardial infarction (MI), nonfatal stroke, or heart failure (HF) events. This is an event-driven study that will continue until the targeted number of positively adjudicated primary endpoint clinical outcome events (COEs) have been reached.
