Acupuncture With Chinese Herbal Cream Compare With Acupuncture With Calcipotriol in Plaque Psoriasis.
Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Have plaque psoriasis on skin, scalp, or nails
- Have not received any psoriasis treatment for at least 4 weeks before the study
- Have psoriasis affecting 10% or less of body surface area
- Have a Psoriasis Area and Severity Index (PASI) score of 10 or less
- Have a Dermatology Life Quality Index (DLQI) score of 10 or less
You will not qualify if you...
- Are pregnant or breastfeeding
- Have other types of psoriasis such as psoriatic arthritis, pustular psoriasis, or erythrodermic psoriasis
- Have uncontrollable diseases such as cardiovascular, liver, kidney diseases, or cancer
- Are using anticoagulant medications like aspirin, warfarin, clopidogrel, dabigatran, rivaroxaban, apixaban, or heparin
- Have been treated with psoriasis biologic agents in the past 6 months
- Have needle phobia
- Are receiving immunosuppressive agents such as systemic corticosteroids, NSAIDs, or chemotherapy
- Are currently participating in another clinical study
