Study of Adult Autoimmune Myopathies Clinical and Immune System Features and Patient Sample Collection

What this Trial Is About

Researchers are studying adult patients who are suspected to have idiopathic inflammatory myopathy, a group of autoimmune muscle diseases. This study aims to create an organized collection of clinical data and biological samples to better understand this condition. The study is a monocentric prospective cohort, focusing on diagnosis and characterization of these myopathies. Participants will be enrolled in a single group where clinical information and various biological samples will be collected over time. These samples include blood, urine, stool, and muscle tissue. The study does not involve a comparison between treatments but focuses on gathering detailed immunological and clinical data. During the study, participants will provide biological specimens and clinical data at scheduled visits. Researchers will analyze lymphocyte subpopulations, such as B cells, T cells, and TH-17 cells, within six months. The study is planned to continue until May 2030, allowing long-term monitoring and sample collection to support research into these autoimmune muscle diseases.
