What this Trial Is About
Researchers are conducting a prospective observational study to understand how sleep quality affects self-care in patients with heart failure. The study also explores how sleep quality, self-care, and cognitive functions are related. This research aims to gather detailed information over time to help improve care for people living with heart failure. Participants diagnosed with heart failure who are 18 years or older and able to communicate by phone will be followed over six months. Data will be collected at the start of the study and then again at 1, 3, and 6 months by telephone. The study does not involve any treatment or medication but focuses on observing and analyzing patient information throughout the study period. During the study, participants will be asked about their sleep quality, self-care abilities, and cognitive functions at several time points. Researchers will use questionnaires and telephone interviews to collect this information. The study plans to include at least 207 participants to ensure reliable results and will analyze the data using statistical methods to understand the connections between sleep, self-care, and cognitive health in heart failure patients.
