Observing Outcomes and Patient Satisfaction After Laser Treatment for Internal Hemorrhoids in Adults

This observational study focuses on adults with symptomatic internal hemorrhoidal disease who are scheduled to undergo laser hemorrhoidoplasty. It aims to evaluate clinical outcomes including postoperative pain, complications, and patient satisfaction. The study also explores how hemorrhoid stage, main symptoms, and surgical details relate to recovery and overall results. The research is conducted at the General Surgery Clinic of Sanliurfa Education and Research Hospital. Participants will receive laser hemorrhoidoplasty, a minimally invasive procedure that uses laser energy to coagulate and shrink hemorrhoidal tissue without cutting. The study collects data during routine clinical care without adding any extra treatments. Surgical details such as laser wavelength and energy used, number of treated hemorrhoids, and any additional procedures will be recorded. Participants will be followed through their normal recovery process with assessments including pain scores at 6 hours, 24 hours, and 1 week after surgery. Researchers will track analgesic use, hospital stay length, time to resume daily activities, and any complications occurring within 30 days. Patient satisfaction and symptom recurrence will be evaluated up to 3 and 6 months after surgery. The study plans to clarify laser hemorrhoidoplastys clinical role and help guide patient selection.
