What this Trial Is About

Researchers are investigating the effects of combining cervical spine exercises with nerve mobilization in patients diagnosed with cervical radiculopathy. The study aims to determine if this combined approach is more effective than either cervical spine exercises or nerve mobilization alone. Participants include adults aged 18 to 65 without other complications related to cervical spondylosis, who have not undergone recent treatments or surgeries for this condition. Participants are randomly assigned to one of three groups: cervical spine exercises alone, nerve mobilization alone, or a combination of both therapies. Each intervention is performed once daily, six days a week, over two weeks per course, with two courses in total. The study uses a quadruple-blind, randomized design to compare these approaches fairly. During the study, participants undergo assessments of pain using a visual analogue scale, range of motion, and muscle strength at the start and after four weeks. Additional measurements include symptom scales, neck disability indexes, and quality of life surveys. The study monitors participant compliance, mental health, and safety throughout the process, with total involvement spanning the intervention and four-week evaluation period.
