Children taking part in the study will be evaluated using the Gross Motor Function Measure 88 (GMFM-88) three months after the exercise program to assess improvements in motor function. Additionally, balance will be measured using the Pediatric Balance Scale (PBS) at the same time point. Throughout the study, children’s ability to sit with good balance and follow verbal commands is observed, and regular physical therapy sessions are tracked as part of participation. The total age range for participants is from 6 to 12 years old.

Eligible

You may qualify if you...

  • Age from 6 to 12 years
  • Both sexes
  • Medical diagnosis of spastic diplegic cerebral palsy by a pediatrician or pediatric neurologist
  • Spasticity grades ranging from 1 to 2+ on the Modified Ashworth scale
  • Ability to sit on a chair with good balance and follow verbal orders and commands
Not Eligible

You will not qualify if you...

  • Permanent deformity such as bony or soft tissue contractures
  • Visual or auditory defects
  • Current hospitalization for urgent medical reasons
  • Severe mental retardation
  • Receiving fewer than twelve regular physical therapy sessions at their place
  • History of epileptic seizure or diagnosed cardiac or orthopedic disability that may interfere with assessment or treatment
