Eligibility Criteria

Eligible

You may qualify if you...

  • Age over 18
  • Stroke occurred more than 6 months ago (chronic stroke)
  • Residual weakness or partial paralysis with Functional Ambulation Category (FAC) score of 3 or higher
Not Eligible

You will not qualify if you...

  • Metal implants
  • History of epilepsy or seizures
  • Pregnancy
  • Claustrophobia related to MRI exams
  • Severe cognitive impairment
  • Untreated or unstable depression or anxiety
  • Other disabilities preventing intensive physical training
