Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Age 18-75 years
- MRI verified hip abductor tendon pathology
- Lateral hip pain duration greater than 6 months
- Ability to read and understand Danish
You will not qualify if you...
- Corticosteroid injection in the affected hip within the last 6 weeks before intervention
- Previous bone-related surgery to the affected hip
- Signs of bilateral hip abductor tendon pathology
- X-ray verified hip osteoarthritis
- Pregnancy
