Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Patients with non-traumatic cardiac arrest who have successfully regained return of spontaneous circulation for more than five minutes after resuscitation
- Age 20 years or older
You will not qualify if you...
- Under 20 years of age
- Pregnant
- Terminally ill cancer patients or cancer patients unwilling to receive treatment
- Intensive care unit is over capacity and unable to provide intensive care
- Patient or family members refuse to participate in the study
