Eligibility Criteria

Eligible

You may qualify if you...

  • Diagnosis of intermittent exotropia (IXT) or exotropia (XT) at distance and IXT or XP at near (Basic or Pseudo Divergence Excess subtype of IXT)
  • No planned eye muscle surgery within the next 6 months
  • Age between 4 and 10 years
Not Eligible

You will not qualify if you...

  • Previous eye muscle surgery
  • Prior binocular treatment or vision therapy
  • Presence of amblyopia
  • Neurological conditions, seizure disorders, vestibular abnormalities, or frequent headaches
  • Other eye conditions except refractive error
