Researchers are evaluating the effect of activating the gluteus medius muscle using electromyography (EMG) biofeedback combined with balance training in elderly patients diagnosed with osteoporosis. The study focuses on improving balance, physical performance, muscle activity, and quality of life in this population. Participants are between 65 and 75 years old with confirmed osteoporosis by bone density testing. The study involves two main interventions: EMG biofeedback, a physical therapy device providing auditory and visual signals to help patients control muscle contraction and relaxation, and balance training that includes functional strength exercises, static and dynamic balance, and gait training. These combined treatments aim to enhance muscle function and balance abilities. Participants' balance is assessed before treatment and again one month after the intervention to measure changes. Throughout the study, physical performance, muscle activity, and quality of life are also monitored. The total participation duration covers the treatment period and follow-up assessments to evaluate the effectiveness and safety of these interventions in osteoporotic elderly patients.
