Eligibility Criteria

Eligible

You may qualify if you...

  • Diagnosed with osteoporosis confirmed by bone density test (T-score ≤ -2.5) using DEXA scan
  • Aged between 65 and 75 years
  • Body mass index between 25 and 29.9 kg/m2
  • Good mental and cognitive function
Not Eligible

You will not qualify if you...

  • Having endocrine disorders related to metabolic bone disease (e.g., premature ovarian failure, hypogonadism, untreated hyperthyroidism, hyperparathyroidism, adrenal insufficiency, or Cushing's syndrome)
  • Active contagious skin conditions
  • Presence of implant devices such as pacemaker or electrical prosthesis
  • Any cardiopulmonary disorders
  • Any neuromuscular disorders
  • Any acute viral infection
  • Having ascites or end stage liver or kidney failure
  • Leg length discrepancy
