Actively Recruiting

Healthy Volunteer

Researchers are studying how diet affects health as people age in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. They aim to recruit 1,000 men and women aged 55 to 75 living in urban or rural areas. The study will classify participants into five groups based on their eating habits and health status to understand which diets are linked to more successful aging. Participants will complete surveys on eating behavior, physical activity, and health status. They will also perform functional tests and collect biological samples like finger-prick blood drops and urine at home. All study activities are done independently and remotely, with materials sent by mail and data collected via a secure online platform. Throughout the study, participants will fill out 29 questionnaires and conduct mobility and oral health tests. Researchers will analyze food consumption, health measures, and biological samples to classify dietary patterns and health profiles. Participants will receive personalized feedback on their diet and health status and can join regional project meetings to learn about the study results and healthy aging.
