Alcohol Use Disorder (AUD) is a major preventable cause of death in France, yet only a small percentage of patients receive approved medications to reduce alcohol use or maintain abstinence. This research aims to compare two psycho-physical interventions for AUD: Mindfulness Based Relapse Prevention (MBRP) and an unguided meditative relaxation program. The study is based on the idea that MBRP may be more effective in reducing relapse and alcohol consumption than relaxation methods without guidance, especially since some patients do not fully benefit from cognitive and behavioral therapies (CBT).

Researchers are studying people who have a germline GATA2 mutation to better understand the factors that predict changes in their blood cell development, called clonal evolution. The study includes both past and current patients from multiple sites and aims to follow 250 participants. This includes those already known to have the mutation and newly identified individuals, with a focus on tracking changes over time. The study has two parts: a prospective group of 150 living patients who will provide blood and bone marrow samples at the start and during a 5-year follow-up period, with sample collection aligned to standard care practices, and a retrospective group of 100 patients who are deceased or lost to follow-up. For the retrospective group, stored samples collected in clinical settings will be analyzed centrally. Participants will be monitored through biological sample analysis without extra sampling beyond routine care. Researchers will track the time until specific clinical events related to clonal evolution occur, measured over 5 years. Clinical data will also be reviewed from existing records for retrospective participants to understand disease progression and outcomes.
