Crohns disease CD is a chronic inflammatory bowel disease that affects the entire thickness of the intestinal wall, often leading to intestinal damage like stenosis or fistulas and sometimes requiring surgery. This trial aims to compare two treatment strategies for patients with CD who are starting biotherapy, focusing on improving long-term outcomes by combining clinical remission and healing seen with endoscopy and MRI. The study builds upon previous findings that close monitoring with fecal calprotectin and clinical evaluation can improve healing rates.
