Researchers are evaluating the wound dressing Vliwazell ae Pro in a post-marketing clinical follow-up study to confirm its effectiveness and safety for acute and chronic wounds with moderate to very high levels of exudate. The study aims to validate the dressing's performance during routine use and gather additional safety data. It will assess how the dressing affects the skin around the wound, the wound's condition including exudate and odor, and measure satisfaction among healthcare providers and patients with the dressing's application. Vliwazell ae Pro is a flexible, soft, superabsorbent dressing designed to manage wounds with high fluid levels. It features an inner non-woven layer that distributes and channels wound fluid into an absorbent core, protecting surrounding tissue from damage. Its high absorbent capacity reduces the need for frequent dressing changes, allowing the wound to remain undisturbed longer. The outer layer has a blue non-woven fabric that protects clothing and bedding. Participants will be monitored from enrollment until the end of treatment at two weeks. The study measures user satisfaction with exudate management and observes changes in wound status and skin condition. Safety and performance data will be collected during routine dressing use, ensuring comprehensive evaluation of the product's function and patient experience.
