Actively Recruiting
Researchers are conducting a real-life, national, multicenter study to evaluate how well patients with glaucoma stick to their prescribed eye drop treatments using the CONNECTDROP® connected device. The study focuses on patients who have been using intraocular pressure (IOP)-lowering eye drops and aims to measure the average yearly adherence rate, adherence patterns for each patient, and how these patterns relate to clinical data. The goal is to better understand treatment adherence in real-world settings. Participants will use the CONNECTDROP® device attached to their EASYGRIP® eye drop bottles along with a smartphone application daily. This setup helps track and monitor adherence over time. The study follows patients for up to 12 months, observing how consistently they use their glaucoma eye drops during this period. Throughout the study, researchers will collect objective adherence data and clinical information to analyze the relationship between usage patterns and treatment outcomes. The main outcome measure is the adherence rate over the full 12-month period from enrollment to study completion. Participants' ongoing treatment use, adherence profiles, and related clinical data will be monitored to provide comprehensive insights into glaucoma therapy adherence.
