Researchers are evaluating two guided surgery techniques to place dental implants in patients with missing teeth at the back of the jaw. This study compares how accurately dental implants can be positioned using either dento-osseous supported or dento-mucosal supported surgical splints. The focus is on free-end partial edentulism, meaning areas where teeth are missing starting from the second premolar in the posterior jaw region. Participants will undergo placement of two dental implants in the jaw using one of the two static guided surgery methods. The treatments involve using surgical splints that support implant placement based on either bone and teeth (dento-osseous) or mucosa and teeth (dento-mucosal). This multicenter randomized study aims to measure and compare the accuracy of implant positioning between these two approaches. During the study, implant position deviations will be measured from enrollment until the end of surgery using intraoral scans and planning software. Participants will be monitored throughout the procedure to assess the precision of implant placement. The study will also consider patient cooperation and any complications related to the surgical area. The total participation time is focused on the surgical period and immediate implant positioning outcomes.
