Researchers are studying a medicine called enlicitide to reduce low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) in adults with high cholesterol (hyperlipidemia). This trial aims to find out if taking enlicitide together with rosuvastatin, a standard cholesterol-lowering drug, works better than a placebo in lowering LDL-C levels. The study is a Phase 3 trial that is randomized, double-blind, and placebo-controlled to ensure accurate and unbiased results. Participants will receive oral tablets of enlicitide or placebo along with oral capsules of rosuvastatin or placebo. The study compares the effect of enlicitide plus rosuvastatin against placebo to evaluate their impact on LDL-C. The trial investigates the use of volrustomig in participants with unresected locally advanced head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (LA-HNSCC) who have not shown disease progression after receiving definitive concurrent chemoradiotherapy (cCRT). The study aims to evaluate the efficacy and safety of volrustomig compared to observation in this patient population. Participants have tumors that express PD-L1 and the study is conducted as a Phase III, randomized, open-label, multi-center global trial. Participants are assigned to receive either volrustomig as sequential therapy following cCRT or to an observation group. The treatment period involves monitoring participants who have completed definitive cCRT but remain unresected and have no evidence of metastatic disease. The study focuses on participants with Stage III, IVA, or IVB LA-HNSCC according to AJCC criteria, who have not undergone tumor resection before cCRT and have not been treated with radiotherapy alone. During the study, participants are regularly evaluated for progression-free survival, with follow-up lasting up to approximately 8 years to assess long-term outcomes. Researchers will monitor safety and disease progression closely. Researchers are investigating whether ziltivekimab can treat people living with heart failure and inflammation. The study compares ziltivekimab, a new medicine not yet approved anywhere, to a placebo, an inactive substance that looks like the medicine but contains no active drug. Participants have an equal chance of receiving either treatment. The study is expected to last up to one year and four months and focuses on people with heart failure who also have systemic inflammation. Participants will receive either ziltivekimab or placebo by monthly injections under the skin. The doses are given once a month throughout the study period. The study lasts for 12 months of treatment following randomization, during which the effects of the medicine compared to placebo will be closely monitored. During the study, participants will undergo various assessments including a heart failure questionnaire called the Kansas City Cardiomyopathy Questionnaire (KCCQ) to measure symptoms and physical function over the 12 months. Other evaluations may include walking tests and heart function tests. Researchers are evaluating ziltivekimab as a treatment for people living with heart failure and inflammation. This Phase 3 study compares ziltivekimab to a placebo in participants with heart failure who have mild to preserved ejection fraction and systemic inflammation. The study aims to assess the effect of ziltivekimab on cardiovascular death, heart failure hospitalization, or urgent heart failure visits over a period of up to 4 years. Participants will receive monthly injections of either ziltivekimab or a placebo using a pre-filled syringe or a pen-injector. The study medication is administered subcutaneously once a month for up to 4 years. The trial includes up to 20 clinic visits during which participants will be monitored and assessed. During the study, participants will use a study app on their phone to record all injections and complete questionnaires. Researchers are evaluating the effectiveness and safety of CYP-001 combined with corticosteroids compared to corticosteroids alone in adults who have undergone allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplant and developed high-risk acute graft versus host disease (aGvHD). This phase 2, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study assesses the severity of aGvHD using the Mount Sinai Acute GvHD International Consortium (MAGIC) guidelines throughout the trial. Participants will be randomly assigned to receive either CYP-001, an intravenous infusion of induced pluripotent stem cell-derived mesenchymal stem cells, on Days 0 and 4 along with corticosteroids, or a placebo infusion on the same days plus corticosteroids. All subjects will receive corticosteroids at a minimum dose of oral prednisone 2 mg/kg/day or methylprednisolone 1.6 mg/kg/day intravenously as appropriate. The treatment phase includes study visits up to Day 100, followed by a long-term follow-up period with visits extending to 24 months. During the study, participants will undergo regular assessments to monitor the response to treatment and the severity of aGvHD. Researchers will evaluate the overall response rate at 28 days as the primary outcome. Safety and long-term effects will also be monitored throughout the follow-up period, ensuring comprehensive evaluation of both immediate and extended treatment impacts.

This trial investigates whether eptinezumab can reduce the number of migraine days in children and teenagers aged 6 to 17 with episodic migraine. Researchers are conducting a Phase 3, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of KarXT in men and women aged 55 to 90 years who have mild to severe Alzheimer's Disease with moderate to severe psychosis related to the condition. The main goal is to compare KarXT against a placebo by measuring changes in hallucinations and delusions using the Neuropsychiatric Inventory-Clinician (NPI-C) score. Participants will receive different doses of KarXT ranging from 20/2 mg to 66.7/6.67 mg daily or placebo capsules. The study is designed to compare the effects of KarXT with placebo in a parallel group format, maintaining the double-blind setup to ensure unbiased results. During the study, participants will be assessed at the start and end of treatment (up to 14 weeks) to evaluate changes in psychotic symptoms. Researchers are evaluating the safety and effectiveness of KarXT in adults aged 55 to 90 who have mild to severe Alzheimer's Disease (AD) accompanied by moderate to severe psychosis related to AD. This phase 3 study aims to better understand how KarXT compares to a placebo in treating the psychotic symptoms associated with Alzheimer's Disease. Participants must have documented AD diagnosis and a history of psychotic symptoms lasting at least two months prior to starting the study. Participants will receive either KarXT or a placebo, with specified doses given on designated days. The study is designed as a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial with parallel groups to assess the treatment's effects.
