Researchers are evaluating the performance of two new blood-based tests designed to help detect cancer in adults aged 45 and older who show symptoms or signs that suggest cancer might be present. These tests focus on multiple cancers, including those in the gastrointestinal system, to improve early diagnosis and guide further medical evaluation. Participants will have up to 40 mL of blood collected for analysis with the investigational diagnostic tests. For those suspected of having cancer, standard diagnostic procedures will be followed to confirm the diagnosis, while participants already diagnosed with cancer must not have started treatment prior to enrollment. The results of the investigational tests will be kept confidential and will not influence clinical care decisions, ensuring unbiased evaluation. During the 18 months following enrollment, researchers will assess the accuracy and performance of these diagnostic tests by comparing their results with clinical diagnoses confirmed through standard care. Participants may undergo routine clinical evaluations, imaging, and pathology reviews as part of their care. The study team will monitor outcomes and maintain blinding to test results to ensure objective assessment throughout the study period.

Researchers are evaluating a web-based Mindfulness-Based Relapse Prevention (MBRP) continuing care program called "Renewed Recovery" for individuals with alcohol use disorder (AUD) who are exiting standard outpatient treatment. The study follows a structured development process including understanding user needs, specifying values, designing the website, implementing the intervention, and evaluating its impact. The goal is to support recovery and reduce relapse risk through mindfulness techniques adapted from the original MBRP curriculum. The intervention consists of eight weekly online modules delivered asynchronously, each focused on mindfulness and relapse prevention topics such as triggers, cravings, acceptance, and social support. Participants also join two live Zoom meditation sessions as part of the program. The web-based format allows users to engage with educational content, guided meditations, and exercises designed to help maintain recovery after outpatient treatment. Participants will be assessed at baseline, after completing the 8-week program, and again at a 3-month follow-up. Evaluations include surveys on usability, satisfaction, and behavior outcomes like relapse, anxiety, depression, coping skills, and mindfulness. Recruitment and retention rates, along with various psychological measures, will be analyzed to understand the intervention's effectiveness and user experience during this pilot test.
