Observational Study of Adults Post Allogeneic Stem Cell Transplant at Risk for Chronic Graft-Versus-Host Disease in the United States

Researchers are conducting a prospective observational study to collect information from adults who have recently undergone an allogeneic stem cell transplant alloSCT and are at risk of developing chronic graft-versus-host disease cGVHD. The study aims to understand the overall burden and severity of cGVHD and explore related healthcare resource use and biological changes over time. Participants in this study are adults aged 18 years or older who had an alloSCT between 90 and 180 days before enrolling. This is a non-interventional study, meaning no treatments are given as part of the research. Instead, participants are observed and data is collected over a period of up to 36 months to monitor their condition and related biological markers. During the study, participants will complete assessment questionnaires either independently or with some assistance. Researchers will collect blood, serum, and saliva samples to analyze changes in proteomic, cytologic, and molecular profiles. The main outcomes measured include the diagnosis and severity of cGVHD, use of personal and healthcare resources, and biological changes related to the disease. The study lasts up to three years, with ongoing monitoring and data collection throughout this time.
