Pilonidal sinus disease is a common condition characterized by infection in the skin near the tailbone, often causing pain, itching, and discharge that affect daily life. It mainly affects men aged 20 to 30 and is linked to factors like body hair, thick skin, overweight, and poor hygiene. This research aims to compare two minimally invasive treatments, phenolization and laser ablation, to see which is better for treating pilonidal sinus disease. The study includes two groups: one receiving phenol therapy, which uses a chemical agent to help heal the sinus by destroying the sinus lining, and the other undergoing laser ablation, which uses laser energy to destroy the sinus tracts. Both treatments are minimally invasive alternatives to traditional surgery. Patients with uncomplicated pilonidal sinus disease will receive one of these treatments, with the choice made after discussion with the doctor. Participants will be followed for one year, with assessments on the first day, seventh day, six months, and twelve months after treatment. Researchers will collect data on pain scores, wound complications, hospital stay length, time to return to daily activities, and any recurrence of the disease. Information will be gathered from medical records and patient interviews to compare the outcomes of phenol therapy and laser ablation.

Duration - Single treatment session
Participants receive minimally invasive treatment for pilonidal sinus disease through either phenol therapy or laser ablation as decided with their physician.
1 treatment visit (in-person)
Duration - 12 months
Participants are monitored after treatment to assess postoperative complications, recovery, and recurrence of disease.
Follow-up visits on Day 1, Day 7, Month 6, and Month 12 after treatment
