Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Children aged 7 years 0 months to 11 years 11 months
- Diagnosed with ADHD by a child psychiatrist at the attending level or above
- Full Scale IQ above 85 on the Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children
- Newly diagnosed with ADHD within the last month or no ADHD medication for at least 4 weeks
- Informed consent obtained from patient/guardian and from participants aged 8 years and older
You will not qualify if you...
- Auditory or visual illness or disorder
- Inability to use software (e.g., color blindness, impaired hand function, or disability)
- Comorbid neurodevelopmental disorders such as oppositional defiant disorder, autism spectrum disorder, pervasive developmental disorder, tic disorders
- Other mental illnesses including organic mental disorders, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, or depressive disorders
- Attention deficit caused by organic neurological or other organic diseases
- Previous ineffective regular ADHD medication use prescribed by a doctor
- Past or present game addiction
- Previous similar brain-controlled game interventions
- Previous physical therapy such as magnetic stimulation
