What this Trial Is About
There are 3 main objectives of this proposal as follows: (1) to assess the efficacy of radiofrequency microneedling in the treatment of erythematotelangiectatic and or papulopustular rosacea, (2) to determine the potential for combination treatment of radiofrequency microneedling with the 532 nm KTP laser, and (3) identify potential novel therapeutic strategies for the treatment of rosacea.

Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Male or female adult over 18 years of age
- Clinical or histologic diagnosis of erythematotelangiectatic or papulopustular rosacea
- Able to understand and sign informed consent
- Able to complete the study and follow all study procedures
You will not qualify if you...
- Currently using oxymetazoline or brimonidine
- Having skin conditions that interfere with diagnosis
- Having extreme light sensitivity or conditions like xeroderma pigmentosum
- Having any serious medical condition preventing participation
- History of poor wound healing or blood clotting problems
- History of keloid or hypertrophic scarring
- Allergic or sensitive to local anesthetics
- Being a prisoner
