Researchers are evaluating the use of SBRT-LATTICE-PATHY, a specialized radiotherapy technique, for treating large tumors that are difficult to manage with standard methods. This phase 2 study focuses on cancers including advanced stage solid tumors and tumors with hypoxic areas, aiming to improve treatment safety and effectiveness by targeting specific tumor regions without irradiating the entire volume. Participants receive a single dose of 24 Gy delivered through SBRT-LATTICE-PATHY, targeting intratumoral vertices located in hypoxic tumor areas. This approach combines stereotactic body radiation therapy SBRT and lattice techniques to potentially enhance treatment effects while minimizing toxicity. The study does not include other treatments like surgery or chemotherapy during the trial period. Throughout the study, participants undergo assessments to measure tumor control and volume shrinkage over 12 months. Researchers also monitor overall survival, progression-free survival, and adverse events at multiple time points up to one year post-treatment. Quality of life is evaluated using a standardized questionnaire, with the total participant involvement lasting up to 12 months after treatment.
