What this Trial Is About

Pregnancy and childbirth involve significant physical, emotional, and psychological changes for women. This research aims to evaluate how an artificial intelligence AI-based smart normal labor application affects healthcare providers decision-making speed, diagnostic accuracy, satisfaction, and overall clinical experience during normal labor management. The study responds to increasing demands on maternal health services and explores digital health tools to improve care quality. Healthcare providers are divided into two groups one uses the AI-based smart normal labor application to support clinical decisions, labor monitoring, and timely identification of labor-related conditions, while the other group follows routine normal labor management according to standard protocols without the AI application. The study is interventional with a parallel design and non-randomized allocation. Participants, who are healthcare providers involved in labor care, will be observed during labor management from the onset of active labor until delivery, with assessments lasting up to 6 to 8 hours. Researchers will measure clinical decision-making speed, diagnostic accuracy, provider satisfaction, and overall clinical experience. The study includes monitoring barriers and facilitators to using the AI application, with informed consent required from participants.
