Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Diagnosed genetic predisposition to breast cancer or diagnosis of ductal carcinoma in situ or any invasive cancer confirmed by medical record
- 18 years old or older
- Considering post-mastectomy breast reconstruction
- For patient RCT participants: Have a scheduled appointment for consultation with a plastic surgery provider
- For physician RCT participants: Provide breast reconstruction care at least 50% of the time (over half of cases in the past year)
You will not qualify if you...
- Not considering post-mastectomy breast reconstruction
- Non-English proficiency
- For patient RCT participants: Recurrent or metastatic breast cancer
- For patient RCT participants: Male sex
- For physician RCT participants: Do not provide breast reconstruction care at least 50% of the time
- Non-English proficiency
