Researchers are studying prostate cancer patients in Algeria to describe their demographic, clinical, diagnostic, and treatment characteristics. This observational study focuses on patients with confirmed prostate cancer and aims to analyze how the disease is diagnosed and managed in local oncology centers. Data will be collected through medical records and patient interviews lasting about 30 minutes. The study plans to enroll up to 500 patients and will use a standardized electronic form to gather information on medical history, clinical features, diagnostic tests, and treatment methods. All collected data will be anonymized for research purposes. Participants will undergo a one-time evaluation including interviews and medical record reviews. Researchers will assess socio-demographic details, family cancer history, lifestyle factors like smoking and alcohol use, symptoms, diagnostic procedures, and treatment approaches. The main outcomes include symptom scores and disease status at the initial visit. The study will also monitor time intervals from symptom onset to diagnosis and treatment, and track any adverse events reported by patients.
