A Phase 2 Study Testing the Safety and Effectiveness of EVO756 Taken Orally to Prevent Migraine in Adults Aged 18 to 64

Researchers are evaluating the effectiveness and safety of a drug called EVO756 compared to a placebo in adults who have migraine. This study focuses on preventing migraine episodes and is conducted as a phase 2 randomized clinical trial with a double-blind design, meaning neither participants nor researchers know who receives the drug or placebo. Participants are assigned to one of three groups one group receives a daily oral dose of EVO756 at Dose 1, another group receives a daily oral dose at Dose 2, and the third group receives a daily placebo. The treatment period lasts for 12 weeks, during which the effects of the drug on migraine prevention are studied. Throughout the study, participants will be monitored for changes in the number of monthly migraine days, headache days, and use of acute migraine medications. Researchers will also track the occurrence of any adverse events up to 16 weeks. The total participation includes regular assessments during the 12-week treatment and follow-up evaluations to measure treatment outcomes and safety.
