Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Over 18 years of age
- Independent in all activities of daily living before the stroke
- Receiving care as in-patient or out-patient at Adi-Negev Nahalat-Eran rehabilitation center
- Medically stable
- Able to provide informed consent
You will not qualify if you...
- Having any degenerative neurological condition, neuropathy, myopathy, or polio not caused by stroke, excluding diabetic related changes
- History of traumatic brain injury or extra-cerebral hemorrhage
- Significant psychiatric conditions including alcoholism and drug abuse
- Severe orthopedic conditions such as amputation or severe pain limiting activity, or chronic pain syndrome
