Eligibility Criteria

Eligible

You may qualify if you...

  • Diagnosis of migraine with or without aura with headache frequency of 4-20 days per month
  • Migraine history of at least 1 year
  • At least 18 years old
  • Able to participate in 8 weekly online classes
  • Willingness to complete baseline headache logs
  • Headache Impact Test (HIT)-6 score greater than 50
  • Fluent in English
  • Completion of technology onboarding with the online platform
  • Pregnant women less than or equal to 16 weeks gestation at enrollment
Not Eligible

You will not qualify if you...

  • Major unstable medical or psychiatric condition unsafe for participants or group environment
  • Medication overuse headache with migraine treatment
  • Pregnant women more than 16 weeks gestation at enrollment
  • Unstable migraine treatment at enrollment: preventive treatment started within 12 weeks or acute treatment within 4 weeks
  • Unwillingness to maintain stable medication dosages during study
  • Failure to complete baseline headache logs
  • Heavy alcohol and illicit drug use
  • Participation in another intervention clinical trial that interferes with this study
  • Experience with stress reduction training like daily meditation or mindfulness apps or prior MBSR experience
  • Any other diagnoses or conditions that may prevent suitability or interfere with medical care, including COVID-positive test within 30 days of enrollment
