Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Patients with primary Parkinson's disease diagnosed by 2015 MDS criteria
- Patients with Alzheimer's disease diagnosed by IWG-2 clinical criteria
- Patients with other neurodegenerative diseases diagnosed by corresponding criteria
- Healthy elderly volunteers who voluntarily participate and sign informed consent, matched by age and gender with patient groups
- Healthy young volunteers who voluntarily participate and sign informed consent, matched by gender with patient groups and younger than 60 years old
You will not qualify if you...
- Patients with other central nervous system diseases such as cerebrovascular disease, brain trauma, inflammatory diseases of the central nervous system, intracranial tumors, or history of neurosurgery
- Patients with various types of cognitive impairment defined as MMSE score less than 24
- Patients with severe mental illness that makes cooperation difficult
- Healthy elderly controls with history of chronic diseases related to the study or poor compliance
- Healthy young controls with history of chronic diseases related to the study or poor compliance
