AI-Summary

What this Trial Is About

Researchers are conducting a prospective observational cohort study called AI-Kidney-Prognosis to use radiomics-based artificial intelligence models to predict clinical outcomes in patients with renal cell carcinoma following surgical treatment. The goal is to help guide clinical decisions and personalize follow-up care for these patients. The study involves analyzing imaging and clinical data from patients treated for renal cell carcinoma at Wuhan Union Hospital between August 2025 and August 2026. Participants must have had at least one abdominal CT scan before treatment and a confirmed diagnosis through tissue biopsy. No active treatments or interventions are administered as part of this observational study. Participants will be followed to monitor progression-free survival over one year after surgery. Researchers will collect and analyze imaging and clinical information to evaluate how well AI models can predict patient outcomes. The study includes regular data review and follow-up to support personalized patient care planning, with the total observation period extending for at least one year.
