Researchers are evaluating a simplified questionnaire designed to quickly detect sleep disorders in patients during cardiology consultations. This observational study aims to validate this tool for routine clinical use and assess its association with cardiovascular diseases. The study also surveys cardiologists to understand how the questionnaire impacts their clinical practices. The study involves two groups patients completing an online questionnaire focused on sleep disorders during their cardiology visit, and cardiologists completing a separate online survey about their practice changes related to sleep disorder assessment. The patient questionnaire captures information about sleep complaints and disorders, while the cardiologist survey evaluates their routine inquiry into sleep quality and treatment decisions. Participants will complete the questionnaires on the day of their cardiology consultation, with follow-up assessments for cardiologists at inclusion and one year later. Researchers will measure the prevalence and types of sleep disorders, their relation to cardiovascular diseases, and consider factors like gender and socioeconomic status. The study will also monitor how often cardiologists ask about sleep quality and whether they treat suspected sleep disorders, providing insight into clinical impact over time.
