Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Any age
- Having a congenital or acquired blood disorder
- Having a bleeding tendency indicated by an abnormal ISTH Bleeding Assessment Tool score with unknown diagnosis
- Connective tissue disorder with bleeding tendency indicated by an abnormal ISTH Bleeding Assessment Tool score
- Eligible for a currently active disease-specific arm
- Concurrent enrollment in the ATHNdataset or current ATHNdataset participant
- Specific inclusion criteria for each cohort such as factor activity levels for Hemophilia or confirmed diagnoses for Congenital Platelet Disorders
- Ability to provide informed consent or assent
- Established care at an ATHN Transcends participating treatment center for specific arms
You will not qualify if you...
- Does not qualify for inclusion in a currently active disease-specific arm
- Unable to give informed consent or assent
- Unwilling to perform study procedures
- Platelet disorders secondary to medications or other substances
- Acquired thrombophilia secondary to medications, overweight or obesity, smoking, cancer, pregnancy, surgery, injury, prolonged inactivity, heart failure, inflammatory bowel disease, or kidney disease
- Concomitant diagnosis with another bleeding disorder for some arms
- History of confirmed positive inhibitor for some arms
- Mental incapacity or language barriers precluding cooperation for some modules
- Known hypersensitivity to study-related products for some modules
- Concurrent major diseases or treatments that make participation unsuitable
- Enrollment in concurrent interventional drug studies
- Inability or unwillingness to comply with study requirements
