Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Age between 15 and 50 years
- Male or female
- Patients who meet diagnostic criteria for fibromyalgia
You will not qualify if you...
- Patients who do not meet diagnostic criteria for fibromyalgia
- Presence of other causes of sensorineural hearing loss such as Meniere's disease
- Presence of other causes of conductive hearing loss such as chronic suppurative otitis media
- Other collagen and connective tissue diseases
- Abnormal electromyography (EMG) results
- Abnormal brain radiological studies
- Current use of ototoxic drugs
