Fibromyalgia FM is a common rheumatic condition characterized by chronic pain, fatigue, cognitive problems, and difficulty with daily function. This trial investigates differences in FM symptoms between men and women, especially following the 2016 American College of Rheumatology criteria. The disease is more frequent and severe in women, and neurological symptoms like tinnitus, vertigo, and dizziness are often reported, potentially linked to vestibular system effects. Participants will undergo audiovestibular assessments to explore hearing sensitivity and balance issues related to FM. This observational study does not involve treatment but focuses on diagnostic testing to better understand the impact of FM on the vestibular system and whether dizziness is caused by FM itself or other factors like autonomic dysfunction. During the study, participants aged 15 to 50 diagnosed with FM will have their hearing and balance evaluated over a period of up to two years. Researchers will monitor hearing sensitivity as the primary outcome and collect data on neurological symptoms. The study includes regular assessments to track these measures and aims to improve understanding of FMs effects on the ear and balance systems.
