What this Trial Is About
Researchers are conducting a retrospective, multicenter observational study involving patients with advanced or locally advanced non-small cell lung cancer NSCLC. The study aims to identify differences between long-term and short-term survivors, characterize multi-omics profiles, and develop an artificial intelligence AI model using routine H&E-stained images to predict immune microenvironment features and survival outcomes after immunotherapy. The study compares two patient groups those who survived more than 5 years after initial immunotherapy and those who survived less than 1 year. Data is collected retrospectively from multiple centers and completed phase III trials. The AI model will be developed and validated based on pathological images to assess immune features and survival predictions. Participants clinical and follow-up information is reviewed to measure overall survival from the start of immune checkpoint inhibitor ICI therapy up to 5 years. The study uses real-world data for comprehensive analysis without administering new treatments. Researchers will analyze patient records and imaging to understand long-term survival factors in NSCLC immunotherapy.
