This research aims to evaluate the effects of Febuxostat on clinical outcomes and markers of oxidative stress and inflammation in patients with intracranial hemorrhage who are managed conservatively. Intracranial hemorrhage is a serious neurological condition involving bleeding within the brain or surrounding areas, leading to high risk of death and severe neurological problems. The study explores the role of oxidative stress and inflammation in brain injury after hemorrhage and investigates whether Febuxostat, a xanthine oxidase inhibitor, can provide neuroprotective benefits based on promising preclinical findings. Participants will be randomly assigned to one of two groups. One group will receive Febuxostat 40 mg orally once daily along with the standard medical treatment for intracranial hemorrhage for three months. The other group will receive only the standard medical treatment for three months. The study will monitor changes in neurological function, inflammation, and brain injury markers during this period. During the study, participants will have assessments including Glasgow Coma Scale evaluations at baseline, one week, one month, and three months. Radiological imaging using non-contrast CT scans and blood tests measuring inflammation and brain injury biomarkers will be done at baseline and three months. Researchers will track clinical changes and safety throughout the treatment period, which lasts three months, with follow-up assessments to measure outcomes related to brain function and inflammation.
