Researchers are studying the prevention and control of chronic non-communicable diseases in the natural population of Qianwan District, Ningbo. The goal is to establish a risk prediction system to promote early detection, diagnosis, and treatment of these diseases, ultimately aiming to reduce medical costs and extend life expectancy. This observational study collects comprehensive health and biological data from residents to understand key health factors and develop predictive models. Participants undergo a baseline survey and join a prospective cohort involving questionnaires on physical, psychological, and social health, as well as physical exams including height, weight, blood pressure, and various imaging tests. Biological samples such as blood, urine, and feces are collected for clinical biochemical and multi-omics testing. This data builds a multidimensional platform for disease risk prediction and health status assessment. Participants are followed annually through active and passive methods to monitor disease occurrence, deaths, and migrations. The study measures outcomes including death rates and incidence of cardiovascular and other chronic diseases over four years. The research includes quality control of data collection and aims to provide effective health guidance based on risk stratification. Total participation duration spans from the baseline through ongoing annual follow-up until the study's end in 2027.
